Help children from Ghana get to school!

The school is open - what's next?

We are very happy that a few weeks ago we opened the Yonso Project Model School together with the Yonso Project, our partner in Ghana.

The school was well received by the parents, so instead of the planned 100 children, more than 200 children were registered. Kwabena Danso, director of the Yonso Project, and his wife Grace, a teacher, did not want to send any children away.
The school can cover its running costs itself, but children from more distant communities cannot walk to school.

The association

That is why we started the non-profit organization “my Boo Ghana School”. With this association, we collect donations for small bamboo bikes and a school bus via betterplace.org, so young and older pupils can safely get to school and back home. Thanks to the association we have already been able to finance a small part of the needs.

Our next mission

We want to make sure that all children of the Yonso Project Model School get to school safely!
